A magnificent work of art! Circa 1950s, this incredible music box was a product of Fred Zimbalist. This piece was hand carved in India; and no two boxes were ever the same. This particular piece is exceedingly rare and beautiful. The case features a graceful grape and vine motif. It is beautiful and intriguing. The hinged lid features through-cut sections and is fabulous.

The vintage Thorens musical movement begins to play. And you will find a small area to store your treasures. This box was lightly cleaned, and carefully inspected. The wood is in excellent condition. The sound quality is typical of a small 18-note movement.

There are no squeaks or squawks, but it is a little plinky. 80% of the boxes that I find have issues that need various fixes. My statements will be backed by quality pictures and a video.
