Vintage Italian Jewelry Box with Sanyko Player. Plays Torna a Sorriento (Come Back to Sorrento). Would make a great gift for a special occasion or keep for yourself! The jewelry box was made in Italy. Appears to have been made by a company called Intarsitalia, based upon another one that we acquired at the same time. Just a beautiful blond colored lacquered case. All there, no dings or missing pieces. Just some minor surface scratching. Nice design of a flute and harp on the top of the case.

The song sticker is on the bottom of the case which stands for "Come Back to Sorrento". The brass gold colored lacquer legs are still on the case. Has a brown suede interior. One piece covers up where the music player is built in. The music box in the case was made by Sankyo.

The music box does stay running when wound and lid is open. The music box stops playing as it should when the lid is closed. The pins on the cylinder and teeth on the comb are all in place. The music box spring feels sound when keyed. There is a key with the box, that does work the lock.

The top to the case is securely attached to the case. Some minor wear to the finish of the case, still looks great.

The music box is 2.75" tall, by 7.75" across, by 5.5 wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
