Vintage Swiss Reuge Sainte Croix Music Box. 4/50 - Plays 4 Songs using 50 notes so one of the most desirable boxes. Personal inscription on the base states this was given as a gift in 1968 so pre-dates this. Wooden box with rich mahogany colour to the exterior raised on 4 feet.

Mirror inside the lid with velvet trim. The lid with a Sepia/Black white image of an Artwork after Francois Bucher. Box is 22cm x 12cm and 7.5cm high. A couple of scratches, scuff and marks to the exterior of the box. 2 Crazed/Cracked lines to the decoration on the lid.

Mirror just starting to fox/cloud around the edge with some freckles all over. The music box plays beautifully and changes song fine (brass cylinder moves) I personally feel the songs are a slow tempo but that may just be how they are. Some particles under the glass.
