A Rare Vintage Florentine Hanging Swiss Reuge Wood Gilded Music Box. The box itself (frame and picture) is Italian but the movement is Swiss, by Reuge.

Pull gently the string from the knob to play Ave Maria by Schubert. Not sure about the age, I think it was made in the second part of the XXth century though I saw some similar models dated from 1890... Original label on the back. 21,5x16,5cm // 8.4x6.4in approximately. Condition : works fine but the picture shows some damage on the right side 5check close-up please, a few small marks/tiny chips - see pictures for details.
