STEINBACH Music Box Twirling Boys with Hearts Carved Wood Germany Vintage 1970s

  
For your consideration is this really cute Music Box from Germany. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well known Steinbach company. It features 3 twirling boys that hit red hearts with their sticks like Pinatas. The musical movement is a Schmidt. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: "Nach Regen scheint die Sonne".

To wind it up, turn the key clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. When the music plays, the entire platform rotates and the boys twirl around.
