Large antique Swiss Inlaid Music Box - 8 Airs - Genève. I cannot see any maker, however this looks to be a quality item with very nice inlaid top as photographed, possibly by.

L'Epée (as another kind eBayer has indicated). When I acquired this the little part that spins very quickly started to move and it did play for while, so it still seems to operate in some capacity. It looks to be in nice condition still, however there look to be 3 teeth on the steel comb (if that is the right terminology) which are broken / missing.

Also some old woodworm holes to a few areas around the base, these have been filled in at some stage. Base / bottom wood has an old shrinkage crack as photographed.

Main wood casing and lid has some marks / scores to commensurate with age / use. 20 wide, by 6 ¾ high by 6 ¾ deep.
