Komet Polyphon Disc Music Box (C. 1895)
A KOMET Model 200, Coin Operated, Disc Musical Box. This model seems to be rather rare and to my knowledge, this is the only example in the UK (There is also one in a museum in New Zealand and there are two others known, both in private collections, in Germany). It plays 24 1/2 Discs and is Coin Operated.
This machine has been professionally restored and plays extremely well. The case style is almost identical to the Mikado Polyphon and has also been restored. A video can be found at. The item "Komet Polyphon Disc Music Box (C. 1895)" is in sale since Saturday, October 2, 2021.
