For your consideration is this lovely vintage Music Box from Germany. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features a blue base with stars, Father Moon in the clouds, 3 little angels with stars and 9 sheep. This beautifully detailed music box was made in the Erzgebirge region in the former East Germany by the famous company "Wendt & Kuhn". When the music is playing, the platform with the sheep rotates.

Father Moon and the angels are stationary. The musical movement is a swiss THORENS movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: "Wer hat die schoensten Schaefchen".

To wind it up, just turn the key on the side clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in great condition and complete, apart from Father Moon's right foot is broken and his left has been repaired. The paint is in great shape.
