For your consideration is this lovely vintage Music Box from Germany. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features a dark blue base with stars and four angels and a crib: one is playing an instrument, one is singing and 2 are praying.

This beautifully detailed music box was made in the Erzgebirge region in the former East Germany by the famous company "Wendt & Kuhn". When the music is playing, the pole with the 5 smaller angels rotates. The musical movement is a swiss THORENS movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: "Brahms' Lullaby". To wind it up, just turn the key on the side clockwise.

There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in excellent condition and complete. The paint is in fantastic shape. Please look at all pictures and zoom in.

It measures about 9 1/2" tall and 5" wide. Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
