For your consideration is this cute vintage Music Box from Germany. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the famous Steinbach company. The music box features a monk or priest with 4 children. It appears to be a Sunday school scene. The house has a large bell and there are rabbits in the forest behind the house. The REUGE musical movement works great. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: "Barcarolle of Hoffman" by Jacques Offenbach. To wind it up, just turn the platform clockwise. There is also a working stopper on the side. When the music is playing the entire platform with the figurines is rotating. This piece is in great condition, the colours are bright and shiny. There is a flower on the right of the house missing, though and one is broken. Also the priest is missing something from his hands, probably a book. Please look at all pictures and zoom in.
