Antique Victorian Black Forest Swiss Musical Box Childs Chair

  
Here we have a fantastic Black Forest antique musical chair with a beautifully carved back depicting a standing bear. The seat is also nicely shaped and carved. The chair stands on four carved swept legs. The seat to which the back is attached lifts and this reveals the musical box which is stamped'SWISS'.

The is also a spring to the front edge. I have taken a close up photograph of the musical box for you to view for yourself. The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are : 12 3/4 inches / 32.5 cm wide x 10 1/2 inches / 27 cm deep x 27 1/4 inches / 69 cm high. CONDITION: This is a wonderful piece. The seat has a faded patch and the back is a little lose where is attached to the seat.
