Antique Nicole Feres Ltd Polyphon 4751 with 58 Discs 1900

  

Polyphon stamped with the serial number 4751 Timbre Variante. It has a carved Ebonised case with a raised panel top, scrolls on each corner with a leaf plinth base. To the inside of the lid is a lithograph of musical cherubs sitting in a garden, the double musical comb sits on a large gilt cast bedplate underneath is housed the movement and the resonators. This polyphon was retailed by Nicole Freres Ltd and plays discs 15 3/4 inch diameter. It comes with 58 Discs.

It is full working order, with the resonators been restored to original condition, movement has been stripped and cleaned. Measures Height 33cm width 56cm depth 51cm.
