Antique FRENCH Black Lacquered & MOTHER OF PEARL PAPER MACHE MUSIC JEWELRY BOX

  
From well traveled New York City estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this beautiful collectable Antique French Music & Jewelry Box. It is a late 19th century piece made in France, of gorgeous quality and solid construction. The box is black lacquer ebony finished, with two parallel inlaid bands od mother of pearl inlay in the front, over the top, and in the back.

Top lid is hinged in the back, inside is a tune cylinder mechanism marked "made in France", placed under glass (see photo). Interior is lined with fabric all around.

Size is large 7.125" wide, 5.25" deep, and 4 tall. Overall good collectible condition, one tip of a foot chipped (please see photos).
