Antique Black Forest Carved Wood Swiss Wind-Up Musical Fruit Bowl Compote w. Here is a beautiful antique raised bowl or compote, with a wind-up musical mechanism in the base. Plays a soothing tune when turned over and wound up. Tagged on the underside - in handwritten cursive ink on a paper tag - VALENCIA BARCELLONA. 9" top diameter (across), 3.1" tall. Nice patina, developed over time. Minor missing pieces on the support of one of the underside feet, which does not affect its sound structure.
