19c German Black Forest Figurine Deer Stag Walnut Wood Jewelry Trinket Music Box. This 19th c Antique Black Forest Stag Statue Deer Figurine Sculpture Walnut Wood made Jewelry Box/ Casket.

Beautifully made Antique trinket/jewelry box, with a HAND CARVED Figural Stag/ Deer standing next to a tree atop of it. It's made & carved out of walnut wood. Lined with a Beautiful Light Baby Blue silk. The silk is all tufted & it is in INCREDIBLE condition! The drawers all have added HAND CARVED Decorations that double as the drawer pulls!

The bracket feet all all carved as well as is the top/ Ground work of where the deer is standing, just Gorgeous!! By the way the sound/tones of the cylinder music box are clear & crisp & it produces wonderful tones. Jewelry box on 4 feet, comes with original lock and key, The lock has it's key but I can't seem to make the lock working, Box has 5 compartments: All are silk-lined, which swing open to reveal the the 5th, bottom one. The front and the sides are decorated with carved flowers and leaves.

Dates to late 19th c to ca 1900 A STUNNING! Size 13" tall and 8"wide. Condition In great condition for its age, there are a couple chips on the wood at the top by the deer.
