San Francisco Music Box Company Grand Piano Floral on Wood Musical Jewelry Box

  
Offering this vintage, exotic wood, piano-shaped music box. Hand-crafted by Donato and Maresca in Sorrento, Italy of exotic hardwoods, with inlaid top composition of flower bouquet, violin and sheet music; high gloss lacquered finish throughout.

Raised on three ebonized turned piano legs; ebonized trim throughout. Interior fitted with Reuge Music of Switzerland musical movement visible under glass; plays Nat King Coles 1952 hit song - Unforgettable. Jewelry compartment lined in dark green velvet. This is a gift to be treasured for many years.

Measures approximately 8"L x 6"W x 4H. Excellent vintage condition without damage or splits to wood. Wood nicely conditioned and intact. Musical instrument in working condition.

Small opaque stain to finish on lower right corner of lid - see last photo - could be water stain. I have not treated or tried to improve - not very noticeable but mentioned for buyers information.

My low opening price is not representative of item value. I will describe marks, monograms and signatures along with a condition report to the best of my ability.
