House of Faberge 5 cylinder Reuge Concert Music Box of Mozart Masterpieces

  
This is in amazing condition, Not a mark on it. In as new condition and lovingly looked after by myself and one previous owner. The House of Faberge produced this fine example of A Grand Piano Reuge concert music box in 1989/1990 for the Franklin Mint, it has 5 gloriously sounding interchangeable brass cylinders that play differing master pieces from Mozart. Fully Sorrento / Italian made with all Swiss parts Swiss made and certified in Switzerland and Italy. Mirrored lid supported by brass prop opener - no damage.

Glass overlay lid to cylinder compartment fully intact. It has a Truly beautiful sound and I'll be sorry to see it go, I'm sure I'll never see another like it. The decor is 5 layers of different inlaid woods with the design shown on the pictures, there are no scratches, no dents, marks are damage to any part of this piano, the hinge is perfect as are the inner piano parts, it truly looks like it's just come from Switzerland direct as a new music box.

The pictures really don't do this justice. I've seen two more of these floating around on the internet and i have to say they were not in such good condition and very highly priced. PRICE REFLECTS RARITY OF THIS ITEM!!!

Added detail i could find includes. This exquisite grand piano music box was handcrafted by the House of Faberge in 1990 for the Franklin Mint. It's official name is "The Concert Music Box of Mozart Masterpieces". It is handcrafted in Sorrento, Italy composed of five different wood inlays and crafted as a miniature grand piano. As you open the lid, you are greeted to an interior mirror which reflects an extraordinary array of Swiss engineering.

Sitting behind a framed glass enclosure sits a 2 part 50 note REUGE movement accompanied by 4 additional interchangeable cylinders. Dimensions: Length - 16" Width - 8.75" Depth (Height) - 6.25. I have recently been informed by the " New Franklin Mint" that unfortunately all paperwork was lost by the old Franklin mint when they closed, so i couldn't get any further detail about this item other than it was fashioned and designed / by Faberge, the old franklin mint went out of business many years ago now, quite disappointed not to know more, but there it is!

It s in amazing condition as i've already said, not a chip, a scratch anywhere, the hinges are all excellent, the glass is present and intact, the cylinders are all as new, all play, no pins missing, the winder is perfect. Im happy for you to pay on collection if preferred by prior notice or I can send via UPS or DPD very securely wrapped.
