Extraordinary Retro Vtg Italian Inlaid Wood Jewel Reuge Music Box Emperor Waltz
It is always a great day on the Bay and we are delighted to offer this beautiful Italian Reuge inlaid lacquered wood jewelry music box. The pillow top case is made in Italy with inlaid wood with red fabric interior. The musical instrument is the renowned and very collectible Reuge movement made in Switzerland. It plays "The Emperor Waltz" and works great. The box is gorgeous and measures a whopping 35 across when completely open. It is in very good condition, but is not perfect.
There is wear to the lacquer that is consistent with age and use. It has cosmetic issues including a rubbed area near the closing latch, a crack in the interior mirror and a missing slat of wood on the right rear foot.
