Black Forest Wooden Hand Carved Music (Swiss Movement) Box Leaf Grape Bowl
Vintage Swiss Made Black Forest Wood Carving Music Box - Hand Carved Wood Grape Leaf Bowl. Vintage hand carved music box in shape of grape leaf shaped bowl with relief carved grape cluster to one end; bowl handle is carved grapevine décor. The leaf shaped bowl is perched on a round carved wooden pedestal which contains the Swiss musical movement. Has three feet on the bottom which can be removed to access the Swiss movement (see pics). In excellent working order (not sure of tune although very recognisable).
Wind up key is at bottom as well as on/off lever (see pics). It measures: 22.5cm (Length) x 17.2cm (Width) x 7cm (Height). Please take a look at my other items.
