Antique Karl Griesbaum THE WHISLER Automaton Hand Carved Paint Wood Music Box. Great detailed craving and automated hobo whistles a tune as he turns his head back-and-forth.

Whistling mechanism works great and play tune each time back lever is pushed down. Sculpture music box has original bird shaped brass winding key. Metal Lantern is marked, bottom and base side are embossed with Karl Griesbaum logo.

Base has a spot for 2 D batteries and the lamp should light as he whistles however Ive been unable to test this (I believe small lightbulb needs to be replaced). Bases is 5 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 19 1/4 tall.
