1909 Rolls Royce-Custom Folk Motor Car Wall Art-Sewing & Lador Music Box Parts

  

I rescued this from a flea market from a guy who didn't even speak English and had no idea how or why he even had this item. I knew immediately that some enthusiast out there would love to add this to their collection so here it is! It measures 12" x 20" and is mounted on 3/4 wood or heavy cork on top of a fine velvet/velour type felt and weighs over 3 lbs..

It has a rope attached to the back to make it ready to hang! It is a mosaic image, of what is labeled by an engraved plaque, of a 1909 Rolls Royce. It is made up of various types of parts, such as sewing accessories, push pins, clips, locks and even a Swiss Lador Music box motor! There is a wind up in the back, but it does not seem to wind the music box which is also missing a few needles.
